註：大千先生壼中居舉行之個展，作品幾為展前數月旅日期間寫成。本幅題謂「帆台莊」，即上野之日式旅社，他寄寓此間，把旅社二樓全包下來，闢有大畫室，作畫兼會客，女侍山田及伊東亦來侍候起居筆硯。

雖云暫寓之居，見証筆下書畫水準精良，毫無客途倉促草率之弊。如畫中山櫻嫣紅，嫩竹烏亮，枝頭山雀佇立，畫面尺幅不大，卻呈朱墨相襯，動靜互倚，雖曰追憶華山舊遊所見，毋乃當下居停適意之反映。
