Condition
Movement running at time of cataloguing, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. In need of cleaning as sporadically stops. Case in good condition with wear to the edges consistent with age, loss to the engine turning. Dial in good condition with some light surface scratches, some spots, and a light mark above the centre arbour. Movement with light scratches and patina.

The present Breguet watch, no. 247, was completed in 1835 according to the registers, and features individual crowns for setting and winding. These features, early for the period, are contained in an extra thin movement, placed in a complementary thin case. The construction of the case requires the regulator to run laterally to an aperture at the side of the case, thereby voiding any need to open the watch for regulation and having no need for a cuvette.
