高行健為世界知名小說家、劇作家及翻譯家，💖尤以翻譯塞繆爾·貝克特及歐仁·尤內斯庫的作品著稱，2000年更成為首位獲得諾貝爾文學獎的華裔作家。他不僅縱橫文壇，水墨造詣亦深。其作品以無邊無際的風景與孑然一身的人物描繪孤寂，同身後貧瘠荒涼的大地形成對比。高氏畫作以單色水墨為載體，充溢著獨特的空間縱深感，凸顯出其標誌性的「內在視角」；藝術家嘗試畫出「由內向外看到的深度」，而不是客觀景深，由此♚而來的作品飽含沉思冥想。

《雪天》（拍品編號2894）是一張水墨抽象風景畫作。高行健幼時隨父習素描、水彩、雕塑、書法與歐洲油畫。近十年來，他在畫布上孜孜不倦地探索，打破了傳統水墨媒材作品的諸多限制。與易吸水、較為透明的宣紙相比，畫布的質感更加獨一無二，強調出明暗對比，並為藝術家內省自觀的作品增加了全新的張🌠力。
