Colour and Clarity: According to the SSEF and GIA reports, the ruby is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, and the colour may also be called "pigeon's blood red" in the trade. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the ruby is of medium tone, saturated red colour, good brilliance and lively. Under the 10x loupe inspection, there are moderate typical silk, crystal and fingerprint inclusions with some lightly surface reaching, a few minor chips at the girdle but not noticeable to the naked eye, and with cavities at the pavilion and culet but not visible when face-up and do not affect the beauty of the stone. The diamonds are about G to H colour, VVS to VS clarity. Condition: Platinum and karat white gold mount, overall in mint condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
