Colour and Clarity: According to the IGI report, the star sapphire is natural, of Sri Lankan origin, and with no indications of treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the star sapphire is of light-medium greyish blue colour, with distinct asterism effect, high dome but is slightly flattened on one side. Under the 10x loupe inspection, there are two surface reaching fingerprint inclusions, minor hairline scratches and tiny chips on the dome but not noticeable to the naked eye.
