Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. French assay marks and stamped Pt 950 and Or for platinum and 18 carat gold. Rubies well matched in colour, purplish red of medium strong to strong saturation, semi-transparent to translucent, with typical surface reaching inclusions, fissures and cavities. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 48.00 - 55.00 carats, on average J-L colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition.
