Condition
Pendant brooch signed V.C.A., numbered 25600, French maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Necklace detaches into four segments, each signed V. C.A., with French maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, numbered 25601, 25602, 25603 and 26401. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, semi-transparent to translucent, with typical surface reaching inclusions, fissures and cavities. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 60.00 - 65.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, clasps secure. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 124 grams.
