Condition
Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 16030096, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire stated to weigh 11.81 carats, measuring approximately 13.10 x 9.70 x 8.50mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
Also accompanied by a copy of Carat Gem Lab report no. CGL05974, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 11.81 carats and measuring 13.55 x 9.79 x 8.52mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating, 'royal blue' colour.
Indistinct French maker's mark. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, minor abrasions visible under 10 x magnification, for more information on the sapphire please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of less than 2.00 carats, bright and lively. Little signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 12 grams.
