Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 78797, stating that the oval sapphires stated to weigh 13.24 and 15.05 carats and measuring approximately 14.40 x 11.40 x 8.80mm and 14.20 x 11.20 x 11.00mm respectively, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
French assay marks and stamped PT 950 and 750 for platinum and 18 carat gold. One ear clip inscribed 13.24 referring to the carat weight of the sapphire and B 10.32, referring to the total carat weight of the brilliant-cut diamonds; the other ear clip inscribed 15 05, referring to the carat weight of the sapphire. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with good transparency, some typical inclusions visible under close inspection, a few surface reaching; for further details on the sapphires, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 10.00 carats, on average F-G colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 29 grams.
