Accompanied by SSEF report no. 79836, stating that the pear-shaped sapphire stated to weigh 19.67 carats, measuring approximately 17.80 x 12.00 10.15mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Stamped OR 750 and French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Inscribed S. 19.67 and B. 5.42 for the stated carat weigh of the sapphire and the total carat weight for the diamonds. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, a few minor nicks and scratches, for further information on the sapphire please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of 5.42 carats, on average H-J colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Collapsible hook. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 11 grams.
