Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 15040238 and SSEF report no. 85687, each stating that the step-cut ruby weighing 34.86 carats and measuring 19.00 x 16.44 x 11.68mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating; the SSEF report together with an appendix letter. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Ruby purplish red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible with a naked eye, some surface reaching, a few abrasions and nicks; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological reports. No evidence of wear to the metal. In like-new condition.
