Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80541, Gübelin report no. 15055053, AGL report no. CS 67834, each stating that the cushion-shaped ruby weighing 7.029 carats according to the SSEF (7.03 carats according to the Gübelin and AGL reports) and measuring approximately 10.70 x 9.32 x 6.18mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, 'pigeon blood' colour according to the SSEF certificate; the SSEF and Gübelin reports together with appendix letters, the AGL report additionally accompanied by a separate monograph expressing the characteristics and the rarity of the stone. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in white gold. Inscribed S 7.03 referring to the carat weight of the central stone. Inscribed D 6.62 and D 1.14, referring to the total carat weight of the diamonds. Ruby red of strong saturation, with very good transparency, a few minor inclusions visible under 10 x magnification; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds on average F-G colour, VS clarity, as graded in the mount. No evidence of wear to the metal, in like-new condition. Gross weight approximately 9 grams.
