Signed Schlumberger. French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold. Central sapphire measuring approximately 18.79 x 15.42 x 11.93mm and estimated to weigh approximately 30.00 - 35.00 carats, blue of medium strong saturation, with small typical inclusions visible under 10 x magnification. Coloured stones with minor inclusions, some visible under close inspection or 10 x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 78.00 - 85.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 323 grams.

"The word of Schlumberger is situated at the point where dream, nature and history meet... Nothing could be further removed from fashion than Schlumberger's objects. Heedless of elegance or a dangerously slick chic, they proceed directly from desire to beauty. The important collection f﷽rom a distinguished European family is a testimony to the taste and style of the 1960s and 1970s. This very☂ nice array of jewels comports several pieces from the master jeweller Schlumberger and is a tribute to his craftsmanship and ingenuity.
