In good condition overall with some very light scratching to the platinum, commensurate with wear. The padparadscha sapphire is a medium-light very slightly pinkish orange and slightly included, mainly due to a few chips near and around the girdle only visible under close inspection. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Fitted with a ring-dant mounting. Accompanied by GIA report no. 5172545733 stating that the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating. Together with a letter from the GIA stating that, 'This sapphire has several qualities which make it a unique and notable gemstone. The fact that it meets the padparadscha color requirement alone makes this stone a rarity amongst the sapphire family. Padparadscha sapphires over 10 carats are exceptional. 'Accompanied by SSEF report no. 67249 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Together with a letter from the SSEF stating that 'The described padparascha exhibits a remarkable size and weight of 22.189 ct., combined with a subtle and attractive pinkish orange colour and an excellent purity.'
