此白化耳墜形制契丹流行，詳閱《松漠風華：契丹藝術與文化》，香港中文大學文物館，2004年，編號IV:2-3。盧君賜在圖錄中指，此類耳墜或經南俄羅斯或蒙古傳入遼國，見頁154。然也有認為此類耳墜乃由摩羯形耳墜演變而成。

至於黑玉蓮花飾，形雖與耳墜類，但其佈局橫向，花紋刻劃集中於兩側，更似髮釵，北京市房山縣出土青白玉孔雀釵，與其較似，現藏首都博物館，見《中國美術全集．工藝美術篇9．玉器》，北京，1991年，編號238。其蓮花造型，風格又與大連旅順博物館藏金代玉飾類，見古方，《中國傳世玉器》，北京，2010年，卷3，圖版98。
