The scroll has been remounted, but the brocade baoshou ('wrapping head') is possibly original. Apart from some typical foxing to the scroll, there are some minor losses to the edges of the head section paper on which the title was written. There are also some minor losses and restoration (with matching silk) to edges of the gold-flecked silk of the main section, with almost all of the calligraphy well preserved. The overall condition is quite good for its age.

著錄古琴計有「春雷」、「冰清」、「玉振黃鵠秋嘯」、「瓊響」、「秋籟」、「懷古」、「南薰」、「大雅松雪」、「浮磬」、「奔雷」、「存古」、「寒玉」、「百衲」、「響泉」、「烏玉」、「冠古韻磬」、「洗凡清絕」、「萬壑松」、「霧中山」、「玉澗鳴泉」、「伽陁羅琴」。

卷末署有陳邦彥偽款。陳邦彥（1678-1752年），字世南，號匏廬，暮年又自號春暉老人。工書法，擅小楷，有董其昌遺意。康熙四十二年（1703年）進士，官至禮部侍郎。雍正四年（1726年）在「錢名世名教罪人案」中被指「謬誤舛錯」而革職，至乾隆九年（1744）復職為官。
