Condition
The seal is in overall good condition with just expected minute nibbles and bruises to the edges and seal face. The catalogue illustration is a tinge redder than the actual colour of the stone.

銘文：壬子除夕壯為作。
王壯為（1909-1998年），原名沅禮，生於河北書香門第，工書法，善篆刻。古云：「雕蟲篆刻，壯夫不為」，他卻徧要為之，是以「壯為」之名刻章。壯為曾擔任台北師範大學及文化大學藝術研究所教授，且為台北故宮博物院顧問。參考台北故宮博物院✅藏兩方王壯為刻章，刊於《印象♐深刻：院藏璽印展》，台北，2007年，頁95，同頁並收錄兩幅王壯為之書法作品。
