註：本幅未署年款，但從畫風、簽款書體及鈐用印章判斷，應屬五十年代初期的風格，可與香港藝術館收藏的〈遊園〉相互對照。相類處理手法，特別在於細筆勾劃出一花一木的狀貌，基本上衹見於這段短暫時期的作品上，日後似未重現。本幅構圖尤見豐富飽滿，入景人物甚眾，穿插於室內、園中，或靠水湄，或沽魚舟上，從衣飾、動作的細節描寫上即清晰交待各種不同的身份。至於背景遠山、房舍、園林樹木，層層相疊，緊湊並井然有序，處處可見畫家用心經營，屬五十年代初的代表作。
