註：詩中謂「斗口村」，即「斗口村農事試驗場」。于氏祖居涇陽縣斗口村，世務農，人稱「斗口于家」。一九二九年，陝西大旱，餓莩遍野，于氏深感改良農業乃拯救百姓於水火之策，乃捐祖遺土地並另購地，於三四年興辦「斗口村農事試驗場」，藉改良與普及耕種技術，提升農產。未幾戰火四起，農業試驗中輟，復因政局逆轉，右老隨政府渡台，斗口村興業卒未得賭。本幅寫於一九六一年，時國民政府駐日大使張厲生及旅日著名記者樂恕人寄呈彼邦佳果，右老得之，遂歎東瀛戰後農業重建迅速，而故園卻蕪，乃賦詩紀之，字句間流露眷念故鄉、志業未竟之慨。
