註：一九五五年春，心畬先生應邀赴韓，接受漢城大學頒授榮譽博士學位，再轉往日本，旅遊晤友，復與同訪當地之張大千、黃君璧等聚晤，往來頻密。居停期間，心情暢快，筆下甚勤。本輯三幀寫於日本紙卡，署「乙未夏」，正是勾留彼邦之時，題曰「東海作此」，即東瀛也。他有詩記遊東京之後樂園，句曰「豈願浮東海，中原日月新」，亦同義也。
