「五十萬卷樓」藏名家書畫（編號1290-1303）

本輯乃近世東莞藏書家莫伯驥（1878-1958）「五十萬卷樓」舊藏，亦此聞名粵省之收藏第三度於香港蘇富比釋出。莫家藏書可溯源至晚唐學士莫宣卿，可謂陳編世守，嬋嫣不絕，至伯驥已是麻涌莫氏第廿八代，從商致富，然甘飯蔬食，癡迷古書♔，無閥閱之氣，藏必研究，五十萬卷書外尚有著作數十種。惜身逢亂世，藏書著述或毀於戰火，或散落人間，聚散無常，自古如是。

四十年代初，莫伯驥隨子培樾遷居澳門，方得一片寧靜，然終究無力再搜集古書，衹留部份前賢學人翰墨，寄想過往。伯驥先生曾與友人言收藏：「予無力收書畫，但藏書家如潘༺文勤，家亭諸公手翰，則頗有之。予蓋欲得藏書家之墨迹以寄其心情也」。本輯集書畫十四件，除賓虹山水，袁枚、吳鼒、阮元、顧莼、張惠言、盛昱等皆乾嘉道光年間藏書家、學者、金石家之手跡，可證蒐集旨實出於藏書世家經世研學之思路。而黃賓虹〈多蔭書屋圖〉（編號1303）與之前釋出〈五十萬卷樓圖〉、〈庸言書屋圖〉，合為莫伯驥、培樾父子四六年向畫家定製一套三幀，寫其藏書樓與父子二人書屋，丹青燦然，足令觀者睹畫思賢。
