Minor paper losses in the lower section of the first scroll and minor creases on both scrolls can be found, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

上款：「左厂」即李祖韓 (1891-1964)，鎮海人。出身鎮海李氏鉅族。他嗜書畫，師從「杏芬老人」吳淑娟；又擅刻竹，技藝不凡。他與妹秋君在滬上好交結藝文界人士，「歐湘館」中談文論藝，經常作詩文書畫雅集之地，鄭午昌即座中常客，與李氏兄妹交情尤篤。
