註：昌碩筆下常取詩句為題，如「珠光」喻紫藤，「依樣」喻葫蘆，本幅亦然。「依依」句出〈詩經．小雅．採薇〉之「昔我往矣，楊柳依依」，點題貼切，用字精警，一字重叠，即概括畫境，曲盡畫意。而構圖簡約，粗幹斜出，枝條細長，俯首下垂，如隨風輕盪，上綴墨葉，片片搖晃，其姿飄逸，在缶老一貫粗枝大葉，筆墨恣放之畫風外，別見瀟灑隨心，佈局與格外窄長之紙材切合，可見因材而施，非草草下筆矣。落款偏據畫面上方一角，下方大面積留白，與全幅簡約經濟之處理手法相應，無署年，按畫風似屬七十餘歲所出。
