〈龐潔公〉
松禪翁相國書名滿天下,寸縑尺幅,羣視為瓌寶,惟其畫不常作,流傳尤罕。余藏此畫十頁,雖屬小品,觀其筆意,渾厚高超,皆從書法中得來,非尋常畫家所能幾及。昔倪高士用筆蕭疏,藝林尊為逸品,松禪亦以簡淡勝,可與並傳不朽。此冊在昔原為手卷,當時預擬改裝冊頁,曾以所備副頁之紙乞鐵琴銅劍樓主瞿良士暨陳迦盦題識,二君對之均推崇備至。丁丑事變,僅將此卷與廉夫〈蜀道圖〉長卷倉皇携滬,忘將預題副頁併携,日寇陷境,室廬為
墟,余所藏名蹟盡付劫灰,豈獨瞿陳題頁已哉。此為余平生所最痛惜者也,茲值付裝成冊,回溯前塵,不勝悵惘,爰識數語,以備檢討。中華民國三十五年十一月龐潔公識。趙癯公書。
〈俞鴻籌〉
(七古一首,文略)
松禪老人墨筆山水冊都十二頁,潔公吾兄得自邑中,瞿良士、陳迦盦二君曾為作跋,戰時失去,今秋携示囑題,謹綴小詩即希正是。戊子重陽節。俞鴻籌。
〈謝稚柳〉
松禪老人畫筆草草,得程孟陽遺意,為嘯琴吾兄舊藏。丁酉仲春,海上獲觀因題。謝稚柳。
〈潘伯鷹〉
丁酉三月,伯鷹觀。
〈唐雲〉
松禪畫世不多見,昔在北京陳英家見便面集一冊與此小冊而已。其畫不講理法,純以書法為之,有如伊墨卿、何子貞畫法相類,天真熳漫,別饒神趣,賞其畫者,當於畫外求之,非尋常賞鑒者所能領略其妙也。國楨老兄希珍藏之。辛酉十一月杭人唐雲題記。

註:翁龐兩家乃虞山大族,龐潔公之族祖龐鍾璐(1822-1876)官拜尚書,亦好藏書,與翁同龢過從甚密,翁氏在日記中常有提及。因同籍、同嗜之故,龐潔公甚好翁氏作品,屢屢集之,並輯有〈翁常熟手札〉付梓。
翁氏以帝師之尊,世代顯宦之貴,兼擅書法,為時人所重,惟筆下鮮有畫作,偶出者,流傳極稀。故龐潔公得其畫迹手卷於邑中,甚重之,後重裝為冊,此即本冊之原貌。冊中十開皆水墨,圖中秃枝歸鴉,疏樹層岩,枯筆渴墨,寫意為主,草草不事修飾,得倪雲林、程孟陽遺意,一抒胸中鬱抑,或可推知乃罷黜歸田時之作。
