-Signs of restoration can be found in the left section of the calligraphy, where there appears to be tiny holes of paper losses previously. Discolouration can be found in the left section and paper has turned greyish. Generally in fair to good condition.

註：吳梅乃近代詞曲大師，執教中央大學，與吳湖帆同籍同宗，復同嗜倚聲，常相切磋，過從甚密，湖帆夫人潘靜淑曾問學於瞿安，「梅景書屋」每有所得，亦請其題賦以紀，如〈七姬權厝志〉、〈隋董美人墓志〉等；湖帆亦寫〈霜崖填詞圖〉以贈。
本幅乃瞿安為湖帆親書室號，未署年款，以兩人往來於上世紀三十年代初最為頻密，屢見於湖帆日記，或屬上述期間所出。
