註：范曾與佘氏於一九八○年訂交香江，日後更得佘氏之介，拜會趙少昂，獲列其門牆，添同門之誼。兩人交誼甚篤，常相過從，佘氏出版畫冊或舉辦展覽，亦得范氏撰長文作序或題字。即使日後佘氏移居加國，仍通訊不輟，不時郵寄作品，合作切磋。本幅乃佘氏見好友佳作於市肆，甚喜之，遂出資購入。

佘玅枝「清音閣」藏師友書畫（編號1312-1328）

佘玅枝（1943-1999），浙江寧波人，𓃲生於上海。性忱繪事，早歲畢業於廣州暨南大學，六九年入嶺南藝苑，投趙少昂門下，先後從黎雄才、黃君璧、商承祚遊；八十年代移居加拿大，入卑詩大學深造，後於該國講學，經營畫廊。

⛦其畫山水、花鳥兼擅，屢獲獎項，出版畫集多本，並於香港、北京、加拿大及亞洲多個城市舉辦個展。作品在市場流傳極稀，蓋繪事袛為業餘之嗜，惟下筆甚勤，常伏案達旦，作畫研詩。

活躍藝壇廿餘年間，佘氏好交朋會友，與「嶺南派」諸家尤為熟稔；且與內地畫家亦保持密切聯繫，如程十髮、吳青霞、宋文治、亞明、魏紫熙、楊之光、林墉等，或北上探訪，或南來居停，皆常相雅敍，切磋藝事，故多年來獲饋贈或直接訂製所得者甚夥。她精心蒐集諸家力作，觀摩研習，不少具親筆紀錄，敍述來源及品評心得，足見寶愛之甚。歷年積累，蔚然可觀，且多未♓公開。其珍藏今春於香港蘇富比首度釋出，反應熱烈，現再度推出專輯，以饗藝好。
