關良、關紫蘭皆二十世紀中國第一代油畫家中佼佼者，二人同籍廣東，且留學日本、研習西畫，喜愛野獸派畫風，最終俱定居上海，雖未具深交，然經歷頗相近，共同師友甚多，或因此機緣，關良寫此水彩靜物以贈。畫中繪琉璃球瓶，盛水半滿，插粉、紅康乃馨數朵，畫面明淨澄澈，光影處理手法，異於其以水墨畫風繪畫之靜物。

-Foxing can be found especially near the lower right corner, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.
