羅孚(1921-2014),原名羅承勳,筆名:絲韋、吳令湄、柳蘇等,廣西桂林人,四十年代起在桂林、重慶和香港三地《大公報》工作,由練習生升遷至《大公報》副總編輯、《新晚報》總編輯。一生筆耕不輟,以文筆辛辣的散文著名。
傳統報人不少都喜歡書畫收藏,羅孚是那個年代香港報人收藏家中最活躍而又最突出的。由於他本身特殊經歷,特別是上世紀六十年代中國內地還處在閉關鎖國之際,羅孚每年都要上京述職,期間多會淘寶,常有奇遇。
羅孚也因為報人關係與許多內地書畫大家建立起編輯與作者的關係,並與多位大家形成深厚友誼,最為人稱道的是與晚年隱居在香港鬧市的林風眠老人的忘年交。
本次藏品是羅孚小兒子海雷整理「絲韋堂」收藏一部分,主要是明清時代文人雅士的作品,也顯示了羅孚收藏的文人風格。
