本品以福建壽山田黃刻製，色澤瑩潤，金黃透脂。方印頂端呈山斗形，光素。

印側刻許均陽銘。許均，字叔調，號雪村。福建侯官人，活躍於康雍兩朝。

另飾邊款及印文，乃趙之謙為傅節子所刻。趙之謙（1829-44年），初字益甫，號冷君；後改字撝叔。浙江紹興人。乃清代著名書畫𝔍家及篆刻家。傅節子原名以豫，字茂臣，號節子，以號行。原籍山陰，客寓北京。喜金石，好集印。趙之謙曾為傅節子刻「大興傅氏」印。
