modelled as a furled lotus leaf incised with veins, the handle formed from a ribbon-tied bundle of stems extended to form the base, issuing a flowering lotus, another bloom bursting with seed pods and a sprig of leafy millet around the exterior, the horn of a caramel tone darkening towards the base

There are some natural perforations/pitting to the horn just off one side of the handle with associated refills. The base with a crack encircling one of the leafy stems. There are other natural pitting to the horn around the interior and base.
