正年間，瓷匠利用亞銻酸鐵與氧化錫，研製燒成檸檬黃彩，呈色鮮明亮黃，用於清代各朝，乾隆年間尤見流行。檸檬黃釉器燒製極難，胎、釉、火必精熟，方見成品，但有微瑕，則前功盡棄。黃釉者，宮廷獨斷，始於明初，僅作禮器之用；檸檬黃釉瓷，則可供宮廷各場合運用。
香港佳士得曾售一例，比例略闊，售於2002年10月28日，編號712，後易手於香港蘇富比2006年4月10日，♓ 編號1627；倫敦佳士得另售一例，1999年6月15日，編號91；另比一對例，售於紐約佳士得，先後為1987年12月10日，編號306及2005年9月20日，編號283，出自Rodriguez收藏。
