the deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot, painted to the exterior in varying tones of cobalt-blue with five lily blossoms borne on a continuous leafy scrolling stem, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a stylized lotus bloom surrounded by tender leaves, all reserved on a deep iron-red ground, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition
The rim has some polished chips and frits. Noticeable wear to the surface, particularly to the interior well. Some expected minor firing imperfections. The iron-red ground is possibly later added. The base with remnants of an old label.
