Condition
Case back inscribed "TO RAY WITH LOVE, MOM & DAD, OCT. 1, 1952"
Case in overall fair condition with wear scuffing and scratches consistent with age and use. Left side case band with impression of hallmark, with scuffing and wear. Some areas with light oxidation. Wear and polish to lugs. Dial in overall good condition with debris and oxidation surrounding applied indexes. Surface wear and markings throughout. hands with light oxidation.
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
