Condition
Each piece signed M. Gerard, French maker's mark for Vassort, 34 rue St Etienne 75001 Paris. Necklace party numbered 57, ear clips numbered 802. French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Turquoise cabochons well matched in colour, blue to greenish blue, some with typical inclusions and matrix on the reverse. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong to strong saturation, with typical surface reaching inclusions, cavities and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 58.00 - 65.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear and tarnish to the metal. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 224 grams.
