Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76918, dated 21 October 2014, stating that out of the twenty-eight step-cut emeralds measuring from approximately 5.70 x 5.40 x 3.25mm to approximately 14.20 x 12.75 x 6.35mm, calculated to weigh from approximately 0.7 carat to approximately 10 carats, for a calculated total carat weight of approximately 75 carats, twenty-seven emeralds are of Colombian origin and one is of Zambian origin, all with a minor to a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Please note that Sotheby's is not responsible for the accuracy of any estimated weights provided by gemmological certificates. Signed A. Reza, French maker's mark. French assay marks and stamped OR 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in yellow gold. Central emerald motifs inscribed 4.24, 4.84, 8.27, 8.67, 9ct, 4.91 and 4.30, referring to the stated weights of the corresponding emeralds. Further inscribed BR 149.88 and BO 5.75, referring to the stated total carat weights of the brilliant-cut and oval diamonds, respectively, and E 76.97, referring to the stated total carat weight of the emeralds. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, small scratches, abrasions, nicks and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 150.00 - 160.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, few SI, as gauged and graded within the yellow gold mount. Small signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure, safety catch. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 267 grams.
