Accompanied by SSEF report no. 62622, dated 26 March 2012, stating that the six cushion-shaped sapphires calculated to weigh from approximately 4.3 to 8.3 carats, measuring from approximately 9.20 x 9.15 x 5.35mm to 10.55 x 10.35 x 8.00mm, are of Ceylon origin, and that the cushion-shaped sapphire calculated to weigh approximately 7.4 carats, measuring approximately 10.70 x 10.20 x 5.35mm, is of Burmese origin, all with no indications of heating. Please note that Sotheby's is not responsible for the accuracy of any estimated weights provided by gemmological certificates. Maker's mark for Cartier, French maker's mark. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed S 47.37 and B 36.12, referring to the stated total carat weights for the sapphires and diamonds, respectively. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible under close inspection and abrasions and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 34.00 - 38.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 60 grams.
