Accompanied by SSEF report no. 91481, stating that the five tested cabochon emeralds are of Colombian origin, the emerald weighing 30.84 carats, measuring 18.53 x 18.64 x 12.79mm, with a minor amount of oil in fissures, the four cabochon emeralds weighing 29.89, 24.71, 13.39 and 12.07 carats, measuring 21.64 x 23.26 x 6.82mm, 18.54 x 19.37 x 10.22mm, 13.47 x 14.40 x 8.82mm and 12.74 x 13.01 x 9.36mm, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures, respectively. Clasp stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emeralds green of medium strong saturation, with typical surface-reaching inclusions, abrasions, scratches, chips and cavities. For more information on the tested emeralds, please refer to the SSEF report. Remaining emeralds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 45.00 - 50.00 carats, as gauged in the mount. In our experts' opinion, the diamonds calculated to weigh a total of approximately 65.00 - 70.00 carats, are J-L colour, VS-SI clarity. Evidence of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure, safety catches. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 137 grams.

奧德斯加慈家族曾經是藝術家顯赫的贊助人。一六七六年，班尼迪圖·奧德斯加慈成為教宗諾森十一世。一六八九年，諾森十一世逝世，其姊妹盧可列媞婭繼承家族遺產。一七一四年，盧可列媞婭之孫巴達薩里·厄巴·奧德斯加慈被封為神聖羅馬帝國王子、莊靜殿下、匈牙利帝國斯雷姆公爵。一七四五年，他購得位於羅馬宗徒廣場的宮殿。宮殿正面由貝尼尼設計，其後由建築師尼可拉·薩維及路易治·凡維特里擴建。奧德斯加慈家族對藝術的支持延續至今。一九五二年，利維奧·奧德斯加慈王子把巴治安諾城堡改為博物館開放。這座雄偉的城堡自一六九六年來一直為奧德斯加慈家族擁有，是意大利文藝復興軍事建築的重要典例。
