Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17040177, stating that the cushion-shaped ruby weighing 4.24 carats, measuring 11.55 x 7.20 x 4.85mm, is of Vietnamese origin, with no indications of heating. Signed Höllmüller Switzerland, maker's mark. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Ruby pinkish red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching, minor scratches and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Small scratches to the metal consistent with wear. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 23 grams.
