《幽谷芳亭》乃郎氏一幅非常巧妙的「錦集」之作。驟眼眼來，觀者或能分辨前景與後景乃兩幅底片，卻不易發現前景的草亭、奇石、文竹、秀樹，皆以不同底片組構而成；按攝影家莊靈分析，右方奇石之中斜伸而出的橫椏，尤其俊美，卻非現實可就，須由兩張底片接合而成，最終效果如此渾然天成，可見藝術家手法之高明。
