Good overall condition with just typical surface wear and scratches. As expected there are age cracks, including a vertical age crack to the interior.

小佛龕做成亭狀，弧頂，中間一寶珠頂鈕，周沿微上翹帶四倭角，倭角向上翹尖，造工精巧。佛龕立牆用整木雕出海棠形之三瓣，立於海棠形木基座，底端出四荷葉形小足。正面二扇木軸小門打開後，是放置神像之空間，上安帶翹尖牙頭的壺門式牙條，下裝直門檻。

此乃家宅內供奉用小佛龕。明末清初時期，製作如此精巧的紫檀佛龕在傳世品中不為多見，甚為珍罕。
