描述
- Porcelain
each with two globular lower and an ovoid upper section with a waisted neck and flared mouth with gilt-painted birds and flowers, the central body painted with gilt-accented iron red lions amidst flames on a white ground between lime green borders with iron red florets, two vases with bubble-suffused cobalt blue, one with a mirror-black lower body and powder-blue upper register (3)
Condition
All three vases have minor expected wear to the surfaces and footrings, including losses to much of the gilt decorations and wear to the enamels, and minor manufacturing imperfections. One blue vase is in mostly good condition but has long hairline cracks to the upper bulb. The other blue vase has restoration all around the mouth (the restoration is yellowing slightly with age). The top bulb of the black vase was off and re-stuck (in-painted around repair), and a hairline crack runs around approx. half of the lower bulb.
