Condition
A 2.5-cm hairline crack descending from the rim. Scattered scratches to the surface, five small chips to the rim (under the metal mount), minor frits and chips to the footring commensurate with age, and minor manufacturing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles, small iron spots, and firing lines (longest is to exterior, approx. 1.8 cm). Painted in red to the base: "118 2 F." Three old labels applied to the base "M.F.A. 1888.11 FitzGerald"; "44 Chinese FitzGerald Nov. 6-1911"; and "Sung 960 1279". One old label applied to well: "118 2".
