Good overall condition, with just typical surface wear, scratches and rubbing to the gilding. The base has been opened and re-sealed.

地靈人傑:漢普斯特德收藏
所謂「觀其器,如見其人矣」,有時收藏更能反映出其所在地的風土人情。此漢普斯特德收藏不但♈展現出藏家超卓的鑑賞品味,更能體現當地文化,多年來藏於倫敦漢普斯特德的美麗宅邸內,四周綠樹成蔭,充滿波希米亞主義氣息。漢普斯特德自十八世紀以來成為藝術家、詩人與作家的聚居之地,而時至今日仍有不少ཧ演員、電影導演、建築師及設計師在當地居住。
筆者與藏家本人私交甚厚,其宅邸內的溫馨氣氛和高雅格調令人印象深刻。他們從事藝術,以行內人的真知灼見以及天生的高雅品味蒐集珍品。收藏盡顯其對二十世紀英國藝術的欣賞之情,ꦗ並體現出藏家對當時英國藝術在同時期歐洲現代藝術中的地位有深切了🀅解。不過更令人讚嘆的是藏家對於藏傳佛教祖師造像的遠見卓識,早在藏傳佛教藝術成為國際藝壇焦點前開始收藏。
來自同一宅邸的收藏擁有一種與眾不同的魔力。珍貴傑作與其他藏品和諧共存,顯示出藏家在審美觀及情感上都對它們一視同仁。多年來這些藝術品一直共存,彼此影響。英國小說家E.M.福斯特在《霍華德莊園》上寫道:「只有聯繫……只有聯繫平淡和激情,兩者才💖會昇華……再也不要生活在碎片裡了。」此漢普斯特德收藏之無疑將當中深意表現得淋漓盡致。
