The terracotta is sound with a light brown glaze. There are some original firing cracks visible to the verso and to the figure's neck on the recto. There is some wear to the glaze in the most protruding areas and along the edges. Some small surface losses in the glaze are visible to the figure's legs, breast, forehead, arm and hands (as visible in the catalogue illustration) and along the lower edge. There is a light build up of surface dust in the crevices. This work is in overall fair condition.
