This is an attractive textile panel. Colours in reality softer and more attractive cherry reds and cerise pinks and blues not as dark, and ground is an attractive sunny yellow in reality. There is an area in the lower right corner, with leaves overlapping the red and yellow central section, which is light in colour, and there are circular areas with knots indicating the central sections of flower heads (as depicted elsewhere on the panel). The colour perhaps is a faded original pale musk pink, or was a brighter white - for flower petals (not evident which on close magnification through the glass). Panel is mounted within a glazed ebonised frame. Very attractive professionally restored and mounted panel.
