Stylish. Attractive surface probably later. Upholstery later and with signs of use. Later ball feet. The finial and stretcher probably replaced. Crewel work, in good overall condition. Some oxidisation and losses to browns of stems. Some alterations to the panel upholstered to the seat, which does not detract from the attractive appearance or stability as use as seat upholstery. It was likely to have been a hanging before altered for use on seat-furniture.
