Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is particular dirt to the crevices. There are a few losses to the edge of the bronze base, and there are two small holes. There is some minor pitting to the bronze at the stomach. There are a few nicks and scratches to the bronze in areas, including to the proper left arm. The marble base in in good condition, with some minor chips and scratches to the edges. There is a small chip to the left hand corner of the lower side of the base at the front.
