Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background colour is slightly darker in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some light wear with associated tiny losses in places to the edges. There is canvas draw to the upper left, lower left and lower right corner. Further close inspection reveals drying cracks to the thicker layers of paint. Further close inspection reveals a small loss approximately ten centimetres from the top edge, forty centimetres from the left edge and another pin prick size loss four centimetres from the upper edge and forty-two centimetres from the right edge. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some small areas of fluorescence to the black paint, some of which have been inpainted.
