The square dial with brushed finish housed within a case of angled design, accented with calibré-cut emeralds, to an hexagonal link bracelet, mechanical movement, length approximately 168mm, signed Mauboussin, numbered, French and Moravia and Bohemian assay marks.
Condition
Please note that this watch was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Manual winding movement, not running at the time of cataloguing. French assay marks for 18 carat gold, and assay marks for Bohemia and Moravia, for low-carat 333 gold. Signed Mauboussin to reverse of watch case, numbered 2378 to clasp. Emeralds mid-green, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges. Links well-articulated, clasp secure. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces, areas of slight discolouration to metal surfaces consistent with wear. Slight residue on watch face. Watch face approximately 13 x 12mm. In good condition.
