Comprising: a brooch, set with oval citrines and amethysts, entwined with a ribbon applied with green enamel and set with brilliant and single-cut diamonds, signed Kern, numbered Dutch assay mark; and a pair of ear clips, clip fittings, each signed Kern, numbered, Dutch assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Brooch and ear clips each signed Kern, each stamped 750 and stamped with Dutch assay mark 750 for 18 carat gold. Ear clips each numbered 16985; brooch numbered 14745. Ear clips with additional maker's mark. Citrines orangey-yellow, amethysts mid purple, both transparent, with typical inclusions and colour zoning visible to the naked eye, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges. Enamel in good condition, natural minor unevenness to thickness due to firing. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.70 - 1.00 carats. Brooch fittings and ear clip fittings closing securely, in good working order. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. Brooch approximately 59 x 48mm, ear clips each approximately 46 x 34mm. Combined gross weight approximately 81 grams. In good condition.
